I’ve got a challenge for you opponauts; what’s the cheapest “sport” pickup you can get today? Baseline is above, I’ll accept anything from 1-2 year old vehicles to brand new with incentives. Good luck!
Also: Currently in the process of putting together the GM edition of RTYVL, large amounts of alcohol are involved. I was supposed to post it yesterday I know, life happens.

Probably a 2017 F150 XL 2.7L single cab with a 3.73 axle ratio. That will get you Zero-60 in the high 5 second range. The fully loaded Supercrew 4x4s with that same engine and axle will do 60 in about 6.4 seconds.
MSRP is about $29,000, but about $24,000 - $25,000 or so with rebates and discounts. Fully loaded trucks you can get about $10,000 off MSRP for most full-size trucks.

That awkward moment when that’s exactly what I posted for the baseline

Ah, sorry, didn’t see it, I was posting from my phone. Though I said 2017, which will get you the cheapest price over the 2018 you posted. Theres that right :)
But that’s your answer right there, there is no fullsize that will get you that performance for that price point, no other truck comes close for price to performance ratio.

$16,286 , and the specs are confused, but it does appear to have a 5.7 Hemi per the VIN decoder.

If you pull up their dealer site it’s for sure the 5.7L... What the fuck?

In cali wouldn’t a sport truck be 4X4? Kinda slows you down to put on chains.
How about Torque to get you over the hills to get you out of California?
Yes I know you don’t need 4 X 4 to drive in snow but if you could have a word with Cal-Trans......
